Hampshire Cricket League

Hampshire Cricket League (HCL) is a recreational club-cricket competition operating through the ECB Play-Cricket platform. It organises league and cup fixtures, results, scorecards, tables and player statistics for clubs and teams in Hampshire and surrounding areas. The league's competition record includes long-running adult divisions, women’s divisions and youth cup activity, with historical records on the platform showing league data across multiple decades. HCL maintains its own disciplinary procedures alongside the ECB's Recreational Conduct Regulations and uses Play-Cricket for competition administration, fixtures and reporting. Its clubs compete in a structured local league environment, while the league provides the competition layer below and alongside other Hampshire cricket structures. It is a local recreational league, not the England and Wales Cricket Board or Hampshire's professional county club.
