Swindon Softball League

Swindon Softball League is a friendly, gender-inclusive slowpitch softball league based in Swindon, Wiltshire. Founded in 2002, it is the county’s only softball league and welcomes players aged 14 and over, from complete beginners to national-team players. The league runs outdoor activity from April to September, including its summer league programme, and offers indoor softball, training and development sessions from October to March. Its competition structure includes Championship and Development divisions, enabling new players to learn the game at their own pace and progress into more experienced play. The league publishes fixtures, results, tables, player statistics and team information, and operates safeguarding and welfare arrangements under the BaseballSoftballUK code of conduct. It received the British Softball Federation League Glover Cup in 2025 for outstanding development by an affiliated league. Swindon Softball League is a local participation and competition organiser, not the UK national governing body.
