Canadian Elite Basketball League

The Canadian Elite Basketball League (CEBL) is a Canadian professional basketball league with 10 member clubs across six provinces. It operates a summer season from May to August and publishes league news, standings, club information and game coverage through its official platform. The 2026 season introduced a full in-market playoff model and the first best-of-three CEBL Finals series; the league’s official news records the 2026 championship result and individual awards. The CEBL has an official league partnership with Canada Basketball. Canada’s federal lobbying registry identifies Canadian Basketball Ventures L.P. as operating under the Canadian Elite Basketball League name. This record covers the CEBL’s professional club competition and does not represent Canada Basketball’s national-federation role or other Canadian leagues.
