American Rivers Conference - Cross Country

The American Rivers Conference (A-R-C) is an NCAA Division III collegiate athletic conference founded in 1922 as the Iowa Intercollegiate Athletic Association and renamed in 2018. It sponsors men's and women's cross country for its member institutions in Iowa and neighbouring states. The 2025 conference championship was held at the Dubuque Soccer Complex in Iowa, with an 8-kilometre men's race and a 6-kilometre women's race; team scores are based on each institution's top five finishers. Wartburg College swept the 2025 team titles for the seventh consecutive year on the women's side and the eighth consecutive year on the men's side. The conference publishes championship information, results, awards and NCAA regional and national participation news through its official website. The 2026 championship is scheduled for 31 October, hosted by Buena Vista University.
