Atlantic University Sport

Atlantic University Sport (AUS) is the regional university-sport conference for Atlantic Canada. Based in Halifax, Nova Scotia, it brings together member institutions and student-athletes to coordinate interuniversity competition and conference championships across a range of sports. Basketball is a core AUS sport, with men's and women's university teams competing during the regular season and in the annual AUS Basketball Championships. The conference's basketball championship weekend brings the leading Atlantic university teams together in Halifax, where the men's and women's conference champions are decided. AUS works with its member universities to publish schedules, results and competition information, and the conference forms one of the regional associations within Canadian university sport. Its basketball programme provides the pathway from Atlantic conference competition to the national U SPORTS championship environment.
