Public Schools Athletic League

The Public Schools Athletic League (PSAL) runs girls' varsity flag football for New York City public high schools as a spring sport. Its official sport portal supplies schedules, statistical leaders, division standings, team entries, playoff brackets, rules, championship history and MSSL information. The 2026 season culminated in PSAL 1A and 2A championship games: Lafayette Educational Complex played William Cullen Bryant High School in the 1A final, while Tottenville High School faced Susan E. Wagner High School in the 2A final, both at Wagner College on 29 May. The spring schedule included varsity competition in every borough, with teams organised in divisions such as 1A Bronx.
