City of Rockville Youth Sports

City of Rockville Youth Sports is the youth-league programme of the City of Rockville Recreation and Parks Department in Maryland. The City provides year-round youth leagues, programmes and events designed to support health, social connection, teamwork and skill development. Its NFL Flag Football league is a non-contact programme for boys and girls from kindergarten through eighth grade, organised by grade level and open to all experience levels. The programme uses official NFL FLAG jerseys and flag belts, volunteer coaches, certified paid referees and City facilities. The 2026 spring middle-school division played at Mattie Stepanek Park, while the league's published rules emphasise fun, safety, football fundamentals, teamwork and community. This record represents the City-operated youth flag football programme rather than a separate adult Rockville flag-football league.
