Arizona Interscholastic Association Football

The Arizona Interscholastic Association administers interscholastic high-school football in Arizona. It publishes the state football tournament guide, sport policy, NFHS resources, official-training material, clock-operator instructions and conference-recognition procedures. The 2026–28 football alignment organizes programs in 6A, 5A, 4A, 3A and 2A classifications, with geographic regions within each classification. AIA’s football championship archive records state team champions across the association’s historical classification formats. The association also provides safety guidance, including NFHS material for practices and contests during lightning or thunder disturbances.
