USL W League

The USL W League is a pre-professional women’s soccer league in the United States operated within the United Soccer League. Launched in 2022, it provides a summer competition and development platform for players, coaches and club staff while supporting gender equity and opportunity in the sport. The 2026 season features 96 teams in 16 divisions, with regular-season results determining qualification for a 16-team, single-elimination playoff. The league’s clubs compete across regional divisions and conferences, with the final determining the national champion. The W League also supports pathways beyond playing through education in coaching, talent identification, club operations and front-office roles. Its official website publishes league news, club information, divisional alignment, schedules and playoff details.
