Conference of New England - Softball

The Conference of New England (CNE) administers NCAA Division III softball, including regular-season standings, statistics, awards and a postseason championship. The top six teams qualify for the CNE tournament: seeds 5 and 6 contest a play-in, after which the winner meets the No. 4 seed; the remaining tournament is double elimination. Endicott College led the 2026 regular season at 15–5 and then swept second-seeded Roger Williams, 1–0 and 7–5, in the championship round to win the CNE title. The victory gave Endicott its first conference championship since 2023.
