HBCU Athletic Conference - Softball

The HBCU Athletic Conference (HBCUAC) is an NAIA collegiate athletic conference for historically Black colleges and universities. Founded in 1981 as the Gulf Coast Athletic Conference, it adopted the HBCUAC identity in 2024. The conference conducts championship competition and supports the student-athlete experience across its member institutions. Softball is one of its championship sports: the HBCUAC Softball Championship is held annually for member teams, with tournament schedules, brackets, results and championship information published through the conference’s Tournament Central. The conference’s mission is to help member student-athletes fulfil their potential through HBCU culture and experiences.
