Upper Midwest Athletic Conference - Softball

The Upper Midwest Athletic Conference (UMAC) administers NCAA Division III softball, including regular-season standings and a four-team double-elimination postseason tournament. In 2026, Bethany Lutheran College and the University of Northwestern shared the regular-season lead at 16–2 in conference play. Bethany Lutheran, the No. 2 tournament seed, defeated top-seeded Northwestern 3–2 in the May 9 final to retain the UMAC tournament championship. The Vikings' fourth tournament title and second straight sent them to the NCAA Division III Softball Championship.
