Alaska School Activities Association

The Alaska School Activities Association administers high-school softball in Alaska across Division I and Division II. It sets seasonal dates and eligibility requirements, publishes policies, procedures, state brackets, schedules, results and championship records, and requires participants to be entered in the School Activities Reporting System before their first contest. The 2026 state championship was hosted in Fairbanks at South Davis Fields by ASAA and the Interior Girls Softball Association. Its three-day format used pool play on the opening day to seed a double-elimination bracket for the final two days. The association’s records archive includes state championship results and awards from 2004 onward, as well as earlier historical results.
