City of San Mateo Parks and Recreation

City of San Mateo Parks and Recreation is the municipal department that operates parks, recreation services, outdoor athletic facilities and adult sport programmes in San Mateo, California. Its Adult Sports programme runs dozens of men’s and co-ed slow-pitch softball leagues, with current spring, summer and fall divisions published through the official QuickScores portal. The 2026 schedule included men’s American and National divisions and co-ed American and National divisions, played on multiple weeknights. The department also provides a free-agent list, field-condition updates, standings, results, rules and registration information. San Mateo’s softball programme is coordinated regionally with Belmont, so teams may be scheduled at fields in either city. Beyond softball, the department provides adult drop-in basketball and pickleball, field allocation and facility reservations, plus broader community park and recreation services. This record concerns a municipal sports-programme operator rather than an independent softball governing body.
