Portland Metro Softball Association

Portland Metro Softball Association (PMSA), operating as USA Softball of Portland, is the Portland metropolitan association affiliated with USA Softball, the United States national governing body for softball. Established in 1949, it administers adult slow-pitch leagues, senior competition, youth fastpitch activities and tournaments. PMSA organises men's, women's and co-ed league divisions, manages team and player registration, rosters, schedules, rules and free-agent listings, and appoints a board of directors that includes USA Softball of Portland commissioners, player representation and umpire roles. Its adult league and tournament programme uses Portland facilities including Delta Park, while senior morning leagues are separately organised by Portland Area Senior Softball with PMSA/USA Softball registration. The association is a recognised local USA Softball body, not the national federation itself.
