Kentucky High School Athletic Association Field Hockey - Football

The Kentucky High School Athletic Association (KHSAA) administers interscholastic American football for Kentucky member high schools. Its programme publishes team alignments, district standings, statewide statistical leaders, Ratings Percentage Index data and a bracket builder for the regular season and playoffs. Schools compete through six classifications, from 1A to 6A, with playoff rounds leading to the UK HealthCare Sports Medicine State Football Finals at Kroger Field. KHSAA provides competition rules, rules clinics, officiating-mechanics guidance, overtime and running-clock procedures, equipment and helmet-safety resources, and standards for game-film exchange. Established in 1917, KHSAA is the agency designated by the Kentucky Department of Education to manage high-school athletics.
