National Independent Soccer Association

The National Independent Soccer Association (NISA) is a U.S. Soccer-sanctioned Division III professional men’s soccer league in the United States. Founded in 2017, it operates around a model of independent clubs that retain control of their league participation and intellectual property, without territorial-right barriers. NISA organises league competition, publishes standings and club information, and reviews expansion markets for future seasons. Its network also includes the Independent Cup, open to independent professional and amateur clubs, and NISA Nation, an amateur league for independent clubs with aspirations of becoming professional. The official website provides schedules, tables, club profiles, league news and information on expansion and partnerships.
