USL Academy

USL Academy is the United Soccer League’s elite youth development platform in the United States. Its Academy League gives players from the USL ecosystem a high-level training and competition environment, with a direct connection to local USL senior teams and a pathway towards professional soccer. Since 2021, the league has served clubs from professional, pre-professional and women’s USL competitions. Its regionalised competition structure is designed to support player development while allowing players to continue with youth clubs or high schools at selected times. The Academy League includes men’s and women’s divisions, league schedules and standings, an Academy Cup and Academy Finals. The official website publishes competition structure, development-model information, divisional alignment, resources and club guidance.
