Frontier Conference - Softball

The Frontier Conference administers NAIA softball, organizing regular-season standings, an eight-team postseason tournament and league recognition. The conference introduced softball in 2026, its inaugural season in the sport. Dickinson State won the regular-season title at 24–4 in conference play and then went 4–0 to win the inaugural Frontier tournament, defeating Bellevue in the championship game before representing the conference in the NAIA Opening Round. League coaches vote for All-Conference, Gold Glove and postseason awards, including Player, Pitcher, Newcomer, Freshman and Coach of the Year, and each member selects a Champions of Character recipient.
