Mid-American Conference - Softball
United States - Softball
The Mid-American Conference administers NCAA Division I softball for its member universities, with regular-season standings, a six-team conference championship, All-MAC recognition and NCAA postseason qualification. The 2026 MAC Softball Championship was played at Firestone Stadium in Akron, Ohio, after the top six teams in conference play qualified. Akron won its first MAC Softball Tournament title and earned the conference’s NCAA regional berth. The conference’s head coaches select All-MAC and specialty awards; in 2026, Miami’s Bailey Manos was Player of the Year, Miami’s Presley Hosick was Pitcher of the Year, and Akron coach Craig Nicholson was Coach of the Year. MAC academic recognition also honors eligible student-athletes for performance in the classroom and competition.
