Sooner Athletic Conference - Softball

The Sooner Athletic Conference administers NAIA softball, including regular-season standings, an eight-team season-ending championship tournament and NAIA national-postseason qualification. Tournament eligibility requires a team to play at least half of its SAC contests, with seeding determined by the regular-season conference standings. Science & Arts won the 2026 SAC regular-season championship, while Oklahoma City won the SAC tournament title; both teams hosted opening-round brackets in the 2026 NAIA Softball National Championship. SAC players also featured prominently in the national awards, with Oklahoma City’s Analise Rayburn named NAIA National Player of the Year and Science & Arts’ Aubree Ferguson named National Pitcher of the Year.
