City of Longview Parks and Recreation

City of Longview Parks and Recreation administers adult softball leagues in Longview, Texas for competitive and recreational participants aged 16 and over. It offers winter, spring, summer and fall seasons with men's open, co-ed, industrial and church divisions; teams carry between 10 and 20 players, and multiple divisions are used to match competitive levels. The department manages registration, team rosters, rules, schedules, standings, weather notices and free-agent lists through its office and TeamSideline portal. It maintains athletic complexes and fields that host adult softball, youth sport and tournaments, including Hinsley Softball Complex and Lear Park Athletic Complex. This organisation is a municipal recreation provider and league operator, not an independent softball governing body.
