Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference

The Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference administers NCAA Division II women’s softball for its member institutions, primarily Historically Black Colleges and Universities across a seven-state footprint. The conference’s 2026 softball season included East and West Division regular-season champions, all-conference awards selected by the head coaches, and a championship tournament at the South Commons Softball Complex in Columbus, Georgia. Spring Hill College won the 2026 SIAC tournament, defeating Fort Valley State University 10–4 in the winner-take-all final. The result delivered Spring Hill’s third consecutive SIAC tournament championship and an automatic berth in the NCAA Division II Softball Championship.
