City of Brookfield Parks and Recreation

City of Brookfield Parks, Recreation and Forestry operates youth and adult softball programmes in Brookfield, Wisconsin. Youth softball is offered for grades 1 through 8, with volunteer coaches and an emphasis on fun, sportsmanship, safety and skill development. The department also manages adult slow-pitch softball leagues, including men's, women's, co-ed and 35-and-over classifications, with team registration and rosters handled through its official TeamSideline site. The department sets league policy and provides umpires; adult rules use USA Softball-approved equipment standards. The 2026 adult season has reduced offerings because construction at Wirth Park Athletic Complex begins in late July, while the city renovates the four-field baseball-softball complex for expanded youth and adult use from 2027.
