City of Long Beach Parks, Recreation and Marine

The City of Long Beach Department of Parks, Recreation and Marine operates adult recreational slow-pitch softball leagues and manages softball-field access in Long Beach, California. Its Sports Office coordinates organised league play, team registration and athletic-field reservations across the city's park system. The adult programme includes men's, women's and co-ed weeknight divisions, men's and co-ed weekend leagues, and a 55-and-over league. League teams play scheduled regular seasons with playoffs, while individuals can be referred to team managers for placement. The department also manages softball and baseball diamonds for permitted practices, independent games, leagues and tournaments as part of its broader public recreation service.
