Massachusetts Interscholastic Athletic Association

The Massachusetts Interscholastic Athletic Association administers girls’ high-school softball, including statewide power rankings, tournament brackets and five divisional state championships. In the 2026 format, the top 32 eligible teams in each division qualified automatically by power ranking, with additional eligible teams admitted when they were below No. 32 but had at least a .500 record. The 2026 championship finals were played at Rockwood Field in Worcester. Taunton won Division 1, King Philip Division 2, Joseph Case Division 3, Advanced Math and Science Academy Division 4 and Maynard Division 5. Taunton’s 11–8 Division 1 final victory over Attleboro delivered its sixth consecutive title.
