City of Scottsdale Adult Sports

City of Scottsdale Adult Sports is the City of Scottsdale, Arizona municipal programme that provides adult recreation leagues, including men's and co-ed softball. It offers four softball seasons each year, normally with weekday-evening doubleheaders, 14 league games and a single-elimination tournament. The Adult Sports Office manages team registration, schedules, standings, rules, field allocation, free-agent opportunities and TeamSideline roster and waiver processes. It requires eligible bats to meet USA Softball certification and local barrel-compression testing requirements, except in 16-inch leagues. Softball is played at several city venues, including Chaparral, Eldorado, Horizon, Thompson Peak and Vista del Camino parks. The organisation is a public municipal recreation provider, rather than an independent softball governing body.
