Ames Parks and Recreation

Ames Parks and Recreation operates adult slow-pitch softball leagues in Ames, Iowa. The programme offers summer and fall play, with 12-inch men's and co-ed leagues, team registration, roster administration, league placement and a player pool for individuals seeking a team. Summer schedules consist of weekly doubleheaders, while the fall season is regular-season play only. League fees cover administration, an umpire, balls and basic field maintenance. The department also manages reservable softball diamonds at River Valley Park and O'Neil Park, and its leagues and programmes have priority use of the River Valley ball diamonds.
