Arizona Interscholastic Association Softball

The Arizona Interscholastic Association (AIA) administers interscholastic softball championships for member high schools across Arizona. Its programme provides championship guidance and tournament brackets for classifications 1A through 6A, with state competition using four rounds and double elimination until a single championship game. AIA publishes a state tournament guide, softball rules and interpretations, bat and equipment standards, field and uniform guidance, and concussion and weather-safety resources. Championship venues include Grand Canyon University, Mesa High School and Papago Softball Complex. Through education-based athletics, the association supports student-athletes, member schools, coaches, officials and school communities statewide.
