State Basketball Championship

State Basketball Championship is a United States operator of qualifier-based youth basketball championships. Founded in 2012 through the National Middle School Basketball Association (NMSBA), it connects independent youth leagues and tournaments to state and regional, season-ending competitions. Teams earn entries by placing in official qualifier events or leagues; an eligibility committee pre-approves rosters, while state representatives support qualifier events and award invitations. The programme serves boys’ and girls’ teams, generally in grades 3–8, with divisions for club, school, travel, community, competitive and recreational teams depending on the event. Its 2027 programme lists 22 state and regional championships plus a national championship across the United States. This record concerns the multi-state championship operator and qualifying system, not a state high-school association, a particular state tournament, a qualifier organiser or SportsEngine, the site-platform provider.
