City of Atlanta Parks & Recreation

Atlanta Parks & Recreation is the City of Atlanta department that delivers youth and adult basketball through neighbourhood recreation centres. The City's youth basketball programme serves participants aged five to seventeen and is designed to teach basketball fundamentals, the value of team sports and healthy habits, while developing accountability, discipline and hard work. Its verified QuickScores portal publishes registration information, schedules, standings, results and playoff brackets. Winter 2025-26 youth competition included boys' age divisions through 17U, with games at recreation centres including Anderson Park, Rosel Fann, C.T. Martin, Bessie Branham, Dunbar and William Walker. Summer 2026 included a Teen Basketball League at Central Park Recreation Center. The department also operates adult basketball, including a 50+ men's league and Fall 2026 men's and women's Midnight Basketball at C.T. Martin Recreation Center. Atlanta Teen Leaders organised a Spring 2026 basketball tournament at C.T. Martin. This record is for a municipal recreation department rather than an independent basketball governing body.
