Utah High School Activities Association - Basketball

Utah High School Activities Association Basketball is the state secondary-school basketball programme administered by the Utah High School Activities Association (UHSAA), which supervises education-based high-school activities across Utah. UHSAA runs boys’ and girls’ state championships in six classifications, from 1A through 6A, and publishes policy, pairings, NFHS rule changes, shot-clock guidance, contest limits, schedules, brackets and state-event information. The championship calendar combines early rounds at home sites with later rounds at college and event venues. In 2026, for example, the 1A boys’ tournament used home sites before quarterfinals through finals at Salt Lake Community College; 2A progressed to Utah Valley University; and 6A finals were held at the University of Utah. The 2026–27 programme schedules 5A and 6A finals at Weber State University’s Dee Events Center, while other classifications have their own championship sites and dates. UHSAA’s official basketball resources provide current brackets, live viewing links, tickets, state information and historical records.
