Walton County Georgia Parks and Recreation - Basketball

Walton County Parks & Recreation operates youth basketball programmes for Walton County, Georgia, through its athletics locations in Monroe, Loganville and Social Circle. The department offers winter basketball for ages five to 17 and summer basketball for ages seven to 17. Programmes are divided by age and, for most groups, by girls' and boys' divisions; registration includes uniforms, officials and scorekeepers. The County publishes evaluation, practice and game information, and games are held at facilities including Felker Community Center, Meridian Community Center, Nowell Recreation Center and South Walton Community Center. Volunteer coaches are an essential part of the programme. Walton County also offers the Walton Adapted Sports Programs (WASP), including basketball. The department's official Basketball Info/Schedules page directs participants to its QuickScores portal for schedules, standings and league updates. The broader Parks & Recreation department provides youth and adult athletics, leisure activities and community-centre programming for County residents.
