USJN

U.S. Junior Nationals (USJN) is a United States girls’ basketball tournament and exposure operator that has run events nationwide since 1986. It describes itself as the first privately owned company outside the AAU to offer girls’ basketball tournaments and operates youth and high-school divisions using graduation year and grade-based eligibility. Its calendar includes regional showcases and national events, including USJN’s National Championship / Blue Star Nationals, Lady P32 National Championships, Mountain Madness and the Battle of the Programs & Fall Finale. USJN publishes event schedules, registration, results, team lists, rules, hotel information and streaming links, while selected events have NCAA certification or college-coach exposure components. The 2026 National Championship / Blue Star Nationals marked its 40th year in Chicago. This record concerns the USJN tournament operator, not USA Basketball, the AAU, Blue Star Productions as a separate entity, an individual event or a participating team.
