Hawaii High School Athletic Association - Basketball

Hawaii High School Athletic Association Basketball is the state-championship programme for Hawaiian secondary-school basketball administered by the Hawaii High School Athletic Association (HHSAA). The association appoints sport coordinators to organise and deliver championship events for student-athletes statewide. Its boys’ and girls’ competitions are divided into Division I and Division II, with schools qualifying from the Oahu Interscholastic Association, Interscholastic League of Honolulu, Big Island Interscholastic Federation, Maui Interscholastic League and Kauai Interscholastic Federation. HHSAA publishes tournament information, brackets, schedules, results, statistics and record books. In 2026, the boys’ Division I final at the Stan Sheriff Center saw Kahuku defeat Punahou 40–38, while Kohala won Division II. The official site also documents the girls’ Division I and Division II state championships, including their brackets and final placements. HHSAA basketball pages provide the authoritative source for Hawaii’s school basketball state tournaments.
