Eastern College Athletic Conference - Basketball

Eastern College Athletic Conference Basketball refers to the Division III men’s and women’s postseason championships organized by the Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC). ECAC is a collegiate athletics association rather than a single regular-season basketball league: it invites eligible NCAA Division III institutions to separate postseason tournaments. Schools selected for an NCAA championship are automatically withdrawn from ECAC consideration. In 2026, the ECAC men’s championship field was led by Pitt–Greensburg and began on 7 March at host sites New Jersey City and Keene State; the women’s event ran from 7 to 15 March. ECAC’s basketball history includes championships dating to the 1952 ECAC Holiday Basketball Festival.
