Big Sky Conference - Basketball

Big Sky Conference Basketball is the men’s and women’s NCAA Division I basketball competition administered by the Big Sky Conference. The official platform provides schedules, standings, results, championship information and member programme coverage. Southern Utah and Utah Tech joined as full members for 2026–27, giving the conference 11 full-time universities; both basketball schedules use a 20-game double round-robin format, with every opponent played home and away. Idaho enters the season as the defending men’s tournament champion and Portland State as the prior regular-season champion. The 2027 men’s and women’s championships, known as Starch Madness, are scheduled for 5–10 March at Idaho Central Arena in Boise, Idaho, with all 22 basketball programmes participating. This profile concerns the Big Sky basketball organiser and championships, not a member institution or an unrelated regional association.
