West Des Moines Parks and Recreation Basketball

West Des Moines Parks and Recreation is the City of West Des Moines, Iowa department that provides community basketball opportunities, including adult league competition and public courts. Its adult sports programme offers basketball year-round, and its official TeamSideline portal publishes registrations, schedules, standings, downloadable rules and programme information. The Department's 2026 pre-season basketball programme and adult summer basketball league use team registration and a defined non-resident fee where applicable. Adult league rules address eligibility, rosters, uniforms, officials, forfeits and protests; a player may not play for more than one team in the same league. The City maintains indoor and outdoor basketball facilities, including courts at community parks such as Valley View Park and Kiwanis Park. This record covers the municipal recreation programme rather than a separate basketball association.
