United States - Basketball
Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Basketball is the men’s and women’s basketball competition administered by the GLIAC, an NCAA Division II conference founded in 1972. The conference’s official platform provides schedules, standings, results, tournament brackets, news and streaming information for its member institutions. In the 2026 men’s competition, Northern Michigan and Michigan Tech shared the regular-season title, and Grand Valley State won the GLIAC tournament before receiving the Midwest Region’s No. 2 seed. Grand Valley State’s women went on to win the 2026 NCAA Division II national championship, 72–49 over IUP, after another GLIAC title-winning season. The 2026–27 league schedules show postseason dates beginning 3 March 2027, with later rounds on 6–7 March. This profile concerns the GLIAC basketball organiser and its championships, not an individual member university, a different Great Lakes body or another league.
