Foothill Sports League Basketball

Foothill Sports League is an organised interscholastic athletic league for private junior-high and middle schools. Its constitution states that the League promotes supervised competition, sportsmanship, collaboration among school coaches and officials, and preparation for higher-level athletics. Membership is open to private junior-high and middle schools, with admission by application and a member-school vote; new members serve a probationary year and cannot enter postseason play during that period. The League is governed by its member schools through a president, secretary, treasurer, commissioners and rules committee. Basketball is a winter programme for boys' and girls' varsity teams, with current schedules, results and standings published on the League's verified TeamSideline portal. Basketball rules are based on current CIF rules with League-specific provisions for middle-school grades 5-8, including age eligibility, score-table supervision, uniforms, game timing and sportsmanship. Schools report results, standings determine playoff seeding, and the League provides play-in, semifinal and championship procedures. The published membership includes Aveson Charter, Barnhart School, Bethany Christian School, New Horizon, La Cañada Preparatory, Waldorf School, Glendale Academy and Gooden School.
