Ocean City Recreation and Parks

Ocean City Recreation & Parks is the Town of Ocean City, Maryland's municipal provider of recreation programmes, parks, leagues and special events. Its league philosophy is to give young people and adults opportunities for organised play and non-competitive sport while promoting individual skill, character, sportsmanship, enjoyment and social interaction. Youth girls' basketball is played during winter, with registration opening in September and activity from November through mid-February; boys' basketball follows a winter season from November through March. Practices and games take place at the Northside Park Recreation Complex, and schedules are published through the Department's verified QuickScores portal. Northside Park is a 58-acre Town park and the Department's administrative, programmes and maintenance base; its two gymnasiums can each hold two full basketball courts. The Department also provides indoor court rental and outdoor basketball courts at Little Salisbury Park and Bayside Park at 3rd Street, where two courts are available for public play. Ocean City Recreation & Parks is a municipal service, not an independent basketball federation.
