Southern States Athletic Conference Basketball is the men’s and women’s collegiate basketball programme of the Southern States Athletic Conference (SSAC), an NAIA conference founded in 1999 and based in Montgomery, Alabama. The conference has 15 member institutions across Alabama, Georgia, Louisiana, Mississippi and Tennessee and sponsors basketball among its intercollegiate sports. In the 2025–26 basketball season, men’s teams competed in East and West divisions, with the top five teams from each division qualifying for the conference tournament; the women’s event likewise admitted the top 10 teams in the final regular-season standings. Both championship tournaments were held 25–28 February 2026 at the Multiplex at Cramton Bowl in Montgomery. Dalton State defeated William Carey 90–87 for the men’s title, while William Carey defeated UT Southern 62–58 for the women’s title.
