Southern Athletic Association - Basketball

Southern Athletic Association Basketball is the men’s and women’s basketball competition administered by the SAA, an NCAA Division III conference. The association’s official platform provides schedules, standings, tournament brackets, results and championship news. In 2026, Rhodes won the men’s tournament 79–76 over Trinity (Texas), securing the league’s automatic NCAA Division III berth, while Millsaps won the women’s title 72–66 over top-seeded Trinity. The 2027 men’s and women’s championships are scheduled for 25–27 February at Maryville College in Maryville, Tennessee. Conference champions are determined by the postseason tournaments and receive NCAA automatic bids. This profile concerns the SAA basketball organiser and its championships, not an individual member institution, another Southern Athletic Association activity or a professional league.
