South Atlantic Conference - Basketball

South Atlantic Conference Basketball is the men’s and women’s collegiate basketball competition of the South Atlantic Conference (SAC), an NCAA Division II league. Formed in 1975 as a football conference, the SAC became a comprehensive multi-sport conference in 1989 and has since sponsored men’s and women’s basketball championships. The league’s 2026–27 championship programme continues to stage both basketball tournaments at the Rock Hill Sports & Event Center. In 2026, Anderson won its first SAC men’s regular-season and tournament titles, while Coker won the women’s tournament over Carson-Newman. The SAC’s official platform provides standings, schedules, results, championship brackets and postseason coverage.
