Presidents' Athletic Conference

The Presidents’ Athletic Conference (PAC) is an NCAA Division III intercollegiate athletic conference founded in 1955. Its governance model assigns operational responsibility to the presidents of its member institutions, reflecting the conference’s founding commitment to intercollegiate athletics as part of college life and academic excellence. The PAC administers men’s and women’s basketball regular seasons, standings, awards and championship tournaments for its member colleges. In 2026, Washington & Jefferson won both PAC basketball championship tournaments: the men’s title earned the conference’s automatic berth in the NCAA Division III Men’s Basketball Championship, and the women’s title earned the corresponding women’s automatic berth. This record concerns the collegiate conference and its basketball competitions, not an individual college, professional league or national basketball federation.
