University of Alaska Anchorage Athletics

University of Alaska Anchorage Athletics represents the University of Alaska Anchorage Seawolves in NCAA sport and includes men’s and women’s basketball. UAA is an active NCAA Division II member and lists both basketball programmes in the Great Northwest Athletic Conference (GNAC). The teams play home games at the Alaska Airlines Center in Anchorage. In 2025-26, the men’s team finished 12-6 in GNAC play and 21-11 overall, reached the GNAC Championship final and competed in the NCAA Division II West Regional; the women’s programme’s official schedule records GNAC and non-conference games at the same venue. UAA announced a 2026-27 men’s schedule with 13 Alaska Airlines Center games and a nine-game GNAC slate. This record covers the university’s collegiate basketball programmes rather than the GNAC itself or UAA’s other NCAA sports.
