Big 12 Conference - Basketball

The Big 12 Conference is an NCAA Division I collegiate athletic conference and an NCAA member since 1996. It administers men’s and women’s basketball conference schedules, standings, statistics, awards and postseason tournaments for its member institutions. The 2026 men’s basketball regular season used an 18-game schedule across 16 programmes, followed by the Phillips 66 Big 12 Men’s Basketball Tournament at T-Mobile Center in Kansas City from 10–14 March. The conference publishes official team statistics, results and brackets, and coordinates its championship series across its sports portfolio. The Big 12 is led by Commissioner Brett Yormark and is headquartered in Irving, Texas. This profile concerns the conference organiser, not an individual university, basketball team, the NCAA tournament or another Big 12 sport.
