Liberty League - Basketball

Liberty League Basketball is the men’s and women’s basketball competition administered by the Liberty League, an NCAA Division III conference. The 2025–26 championship tournaments used six-team fields: Vassar won the men’s title 57–53 over top-seeded RPI, while Union won the women’s title 81–70 over RIT and secured the league’s NCAA Division III automatic qualifier. The 2026–27 men’s tournament is scheduled for 23, 26 and 28 February, with first-round games at the No. 3 and No. 4 seeds, semifinals at higher seeds and the final at the highest remaining seed; championship teams receive the league’s NCAA automatic qualification.
