Northeast Conference - Basketball

Northeast Conference Basketball is the men’s and women’s basketball competition administered by the Northeast Conference (NEC), an NCAA Division I collegiate athletic conference. Its official platform supplies composite schedules, standings, statistics, tournament brackets and championship coverage for member institutions. The 2026 men’s tournament was an eight-team event played at the higher seed’s home court, with LIU winning both the regular-season and tournament titles; Fairleigh Dickinson won the 2026 women’s tournament. The 2027 championship dates are 3, 6 and 9 March for men and 8, 11 and 14 March for women, again at high seeds. This profile concerns the NEC basketball organiser and its championships, not an individual member university or a regional youth basketball organisation.
