Big South Conference - Basketball

Big South Conference Basketball is the men’s and women’s basketball competition administered by the Big South Conference, an NCAA Division I collegiate athletic conference. Its official platform publishes standings, schedules, results, tournament information and national broadcast details for member institutions. High Point swept the 2026 men’s and women’s championships at Freedom Hall Civic Center in Johnson City, Tennessee, earning both of the conference’s automatic NCAA Tournament bids; the men defeated Winthrop 91–76 in the final. The 2027 men’s and women’s championships return to Freedom Hall from 3 to 7 March, and the Big South has also established a two-year basketball scheduling series with the Southern Conference beginning in 2026–27. This profile concerns the Big South basketball organiser and championships, not a member university or another regional league.
